• Total salary 30,000-35,000 sterling which includes 10 percent as a annual gratuity.

The Proprietors are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced school Principal to lead the Secondary boarding school and a Headteacher to lead the Nursery/Primary School for September 2013. The boarding school is approximately 30 minutes from the central district of Abuja. The Primary School is in the wealthy district of Asokoro. The Principal will be the only expat at the boarding school, and the Headteacher the only expat at the primary. The only other expat working at the schools is the Administrator who the two senior managers will report directly to. The 2 successful appointees would be expected to take charge of the day to day management and operations of the schools. As such they will have a great deal of autonomy.

The nursery and primary school reflects the practises of Montessori for early years and a modified English Curriculum for the primary phase. In secondary the school follows the Nigerian Curriculum while offering children the opportunity to study a range of International programmes including IGCSE, SAT and TOEFL. The school is a recognised and accredited test centre for Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).

Candidates should possess:

A good degree(B.Ed./M.Ed./PGCE)

A proven record of successful leadership and management

Excellent communication and motivational skills

The ability to develop staff to their full potential

In addition they should be:

An inspirational leader and facilitator

A good team player
