post of Director of Administration which will soon become vacant at
the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife.
The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife,
one of the foremost Teaching Hospitals in Nigeria, was founded on the
He Philosophy as a guiding principle which focuses on an integrated
healthcare delivery system approach with emphasis on comprehensive
healthcare services comprising primary at the base, secondary and
tertiary services at the hospital settings. The institution has six
(6) healthcare hospital units with 780-Bed complement and 36 Dental
Chairs offering diverse and specialized services.
The
vision of the institution is to become a leading centre of excellence
in every Clinical Training and Support Services while its vision is to
provide quality healthcare services, Manpower Development through
Training and Research for the overall Benefit of the Patients and the
Society. The Director of Administration will be Secretary to the
Management Board and be responsible to the Chief Medical Director to
give effective leadership in administrative matters towards the
achievement of the vision and mission of the Hospital in order to
transform it into a 21 -century world class standard.
Position:
Director of Administration
Qualifications and Experience;
Candidates should possess a good Honours Degree from a recognized
University in Health Services Management or any of the Social Sciences
or Humanities.
Possession of a Masters Degree in Public Administration or Health Services Management will be an added advantage.
Candidate must be a member of the Institute of Health Service Administrators of Nigeria.
In addition, candidates must have not less than Twenty (20) years
cognate administrative experience in a Teaching Hospital or any other
institution of similar standard, part of which MUST be in the Deputy
Director grade.
Anyone below the grade of Deputy Director and earning below CONHESS 14 (GL16) need not apply.
Duties;
Successful candidates will be responsible to the Chief Medical
Director tor the effective functioning of all the administrative
divisions in the day-to-day management of the Teaching Hospital and be
Secretary to the Management Board.
Conditions of Service
These are as obtainable in the Federal Public Service of Nigeria.
SALARY:
CONHESS15 (N4, 224, 544.00 – N5,128, 200.00) per annum.
