Roles and responsibilities 

• Provide wound care
• Immunize staff and dependents against infectious diseases incidence
• Provide family planning services to staff and defendants
• Prepare daily reports of patients in the observation room
• Conduct HIV counseling, sickle cell and family planning
• Provide regular health care services
• To encourage health maintenance and promotion through counseling and awareness activities,

• Check vital signs of all patients
• Administer intramuscular, subcutaneous injections
• Ensure safe environment
• Carry out any other duty as may be assigned
• To manage day-to-day operations of the Clinic.
• To maintain health records, documenting each patient contact and updating patient profiles.
• To check equipment and supplies, restocking as necessary. Check emergency kit.
• To ensure confidentiality during hospital visits and telephone contact, as well as patient’s health records.
• To provide primary care for eligible patients, during scheduled health service hours.
• To administer prescription and non-prescription medication, after appropriate assessment, to patients on observation..

Requirement 

• A good certificate in nursing and midwifery.(Double qualified)
• A good degree (B.Sc in Nursing), from a recognized institution.
• Membership of nursing and midwifery council is mandatory.
• A minimum of 4 years working experience
